  So if the text or image component on the page covers about 5% of the total page, you can reasonably expect to get about 300 pages from one cartridge.
  
  
  
• Ink Droplet size is 12.4 picolitres providing a good balance between quality resolution and productive speed, as fewer printhead passes are required to create the final printed page. The general rule of thumb for picolitre size is that the smaller the number quoted, the better resolution, but often this is at the cost of speed, particularly if the ink nozzle number is the same between cartridges.
  
  For text, the emphasis is on production levels and because printed documents are mainly text, the resolution required is not as critical as for producing lab quality full-colour photo pages.
  
  With larger blocks of the image, more print head passes are required by the printer to produce the page, which by extension, means that it takes longer to print the document or image. Additionally the more the ink nozzles there are, the better the resolution produced also.
  
  
  
• The print technology utilised to disperse ink to the paper is called and known as thermal inkjet. This is a process that delivers the ink from the cartridge chamber to an ink nozzle where it then heated with a micro-sized heating (thermal) element.
  
  The expansion of ink produced by the heating element then forces the ink from the nozzle onto the paper. Results of such mean superior high-quality resolution when compared top other print technologies.
  
  
  
• Print cartridge volume is 8mls and the print head has 1088 ink nozzles for extra crisp text quality.
