IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT REFILLING, PLEASE READ:
A reset procedure is required to be undertaken after refilling and re-installing refilled cartridges.
Printer Reset Instructions:
Change the printer setup as below.
Case 1) When the window of “Ink is running low” appears.
If print quality is normal, keep on printing continuously.
Case 2) When the window of “Ink has run out” appears.
Press and hold the "Stop/ Reset" button on your printer for 10 seconds.
Case 3) When the window of “Service error 5200” appears.
Turn off and Turn on the printer from the mains AC power plug for 5 minutes. Then once on and before using the printer, run the “Head cleaning” process as detailed in your printer manual. If printing fails after print head cleaning process has been undertaken, then cartridge will need priming. Please print one page Tri-colour primer chart by clicking HERE to promote ink flow and then return to normal printing.
◆ Warning: The level warning system of the refilled cartridge will be deactivated permanently. Refill the cartridge only when the print quality begins to deteriorate and the cartridge is actually out of ink. If you keep on printing without inks for a long time, the print head will be damaged. |
