• The whole 4 ink packs in this combo pack are an integral part of the printer's total image creation system. As we've come to expect from Epson, these packs produce a perfect mix of print output quality and performance to create sharp and precise printed documents and vibrant full-colour images.

• Each ink pack contains a special formulation of premium quality ink developed by Epson's in-house ink laboratory team to ensure superior print quality, performance and colour matching. The microscopic ink droplet size of only 3.5pl (picolitre) ensures continuous high-resolution page coverage. Printed output is also fade resistant, smudge proof and durable to allow for continuous robust handling and be able to withstand adverse environmental conditions.

• Epson engineers have designed these packs to deliver consistent quality results up to print speeds of up to 24 ppm.

• The prints produced will be abrasion, scratch, fade and smear resistant thanks to the unique additives in the ink formulation. The visual quality output is particularly enhanced when used with recommended media types and advanced printer settings.   

• The advanced printhead applicator utilsed in these models of printers will deliver up to 4800 (Horizontal) x 1200 (Vertical) dpi optimised resolution. 

• Uniquely formulated chemical additives have been added to the ink tank blend to improve print reliability and performance. One such compound acts to keep the printhead assembly at the exact right temperature during printing to maximise ink spread and even dispersion across the page as well as to prevent heating elements from failing. Others ensure the ink viscosity is maintained so that continuous ink flow can occur during printing and line clogging can be avoided once at rest.  

• Epson's Image Laboratory R & D department has carefully researched and developed the manufacture design of these packs from durable, non-toxic and ecologically friendly components and materials to ensure continuous performance and user safety.

• The printing process with these types of printers using inkjet tank packs with an internal printhead unit mechanisms is called thermal inkjet technology. Firstly ink from the cartridge tank is transferred to hundreds of tiny ink head nozzles in the printhead applicator assembly. This print-head nozzle comprises a series of mini heating elements which it uses to expand the ink and force it through the nozzle on the page. It continues this switching or firing of the elements until the ink has been wholly layered upon the page and the final image and text have been formed.

• Each tank pack is packaged in its own fully vacuum sealed container to maximise longevity and avoid ink seepage. It is then also put inside a protective box for easy storage and access.

• The print volume of these ink tank packs is up to 12000 prints in total at 5% coverage*.
